Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering, Quotes & Planning

What’s the difference between Custom and Non-Custom orders?
  • Custom Orders are designed and built to customer specifications and are non-returnable once production begins.
  • Non-Custom Orders are standard products made to our specifications and may be eligible for return (see our Refund & Returns Policy for details).
How do I request a quote?

Visit cascadestalls.com and use our “Plan Your Project” form, or email us directly at office@cascadestalls.com.

What information should I have ready when requesting a quote?
  • The size of the barn or stalls needed
  • Desired style (e.g., Streamline Series, Elevate Series, Cascade Modular)
  • Custom features required (yokes, mesh, bars, tack room layout, etc.)
  • Project location (for accurate shipping quote)
  • Anticipated timeline
Do you offer financing?

No. At this time we do not offer financing.

Products & Materials

Can orders be customized?

Yes. Most of our products can be customized to fit a customer’s exact needs — whether that’s stall packages, barn doors, barns, or tack rooms.

What's included in a modular package?

Each kit ships as pre-manufactured wall sections (arrive ready to fasten together) with roof members that install after the walls are anchored.

Every kit includes:

  • Pre-manufactured steel wall panels (pre-built; fasten together on site)
  • Roof structure (purlins)
  • Roofing package – metal roof panels (Gable Barn includes ridge cap and trim as standard)
  • Siding panels (Gable Barn only) (siding is not standard on Shed Row)
  • All required structural hardware and mounting brackets (anchoring not included)
  • Illustrated assembly guide

Optional add-ons:

  • Rake kit (gable-end overhang)
  • Siding panels for Shed Row
  • Mats, feeders, and water buckets
  • Back-door package (units ship standard with a solid rear wall)

You’ll provide:

  • Foundation/anchors appropriate to your site
  • Wood infill (unless added to your order)
  • Labor, tools, and equipment for assembly
  • Any permits or engineering required in your area
Do products come with hardware?

Yes, all necessary hardware is included unless otherwise specified.

Do stalls and modular barns include wood infill?

No. Stall fronts, stall doors, stall dividers, and Cascade Modular barns are supplied as steel frames without wood infill unless a custom order specifically includes wood.

Most customers source wood locally because it’s often more cost-effective and faster due to supply chain variability and freight weight/cost. Local sourcing also lets you choose the species and finish to match your barn.

If you want Cascade to supply wood, this can be accommodated on custom orders (subject to availability, added cost, and lead time). When wood is included, it will be clearly listed on the quote and invoice.

Does powder coating extend the life of your products?

Yes. Powder coating adds durability and corrosion resistance, which help our products last longer. However, like any finish, it isn’t indestructible. Cribbing, repeated kicking, or heavy impact in one spot can still cause wear over time.

For any areas that do experience wear, we recommend using touch-up paint to maintain protection and appearance. Please send an email to office@cascadestalls.com if you require a touch up kit.

How should stalls be maintained?

Our stalls are built for durability, but regular cleaning, lubrication of hinges/latches, and inspection of welds/hardware will extend the life of the product.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship?

We ship throughout the continental United States and Canada.

Who arranges shipping?

Cascade will coordinate freight shipping, but final offloading is the responsibility of the customer. A forklift or tractor with pallet forks is typically required. Cascade is not responsible for damages incurred during unloading by the customer.

Can customers pick up orders?

By appointment only. Customers must be able to offload their own product upon arrival to their location. Cascade assumes no responsibility for product once it has been accepted by the customer, and departed our facility. Cascade is not responsible for damages incurred during unloading by the customer.

Do customers need to be present for delivery?

Yes. Someone must be on-site at delivery to unload, inspect, and sign for the shipment.

What happens if my shipment arrives damaged or incorrect?

Take photos of the packaging and product immediately and contact office@cascadestalls.com within 3 business days.

Installation & Remodeling

Do you offer installation services?

Cascade offers installation services for our Washington, Oregon and Idaho customers upon request, for an additional fee. We will also provide step-by-step guidance for customers who prefer to do their own installation.

Can I retrofit Cascade stalls into an existing barn?

Yes. Many customers replace old stall fronts and doors with Cascade products as part of a barn remodel.

Can Cascade remodel an existing barn?

Yes. We specialize in barn interior remodeling! We will remove old stalls and replace them with new stall fronts, doors, mats, and hardware. We also offer tack room renovation and redesign.

Returns, Policies & Contact

Can custom products be returned?

No. Custom products that meet the final agreed specifications cannot be returned or refunded.

What about standard (non-custom) products?

They may be returned if they are unused, in original packaging, and in saleable condition. A restocking fee of up to 40% applies, and the customer covers return shipping.
